John Parlapiano

John Parlapiano entered the financial planning profession following a successful career of over thirty years in various positions with Exxon Mobil Corporation. He retired as Aromatics Planning Manager with Exxon Mobil Chemical. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from Princeton University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. John and his wife reside in Katy, Texas and have two children.

Paul Troyer

Paul Troyer began his career in financial planning in 2001, following three years as a tax accountant and auditor. Paul received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan with concentrations in accounting and finance, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Paul has also been an estate planning instructor for the University of St. Thomas CFP® certification education program. When not assisting his clients with their goals and needs, Paul enjoys traveling, photography, and learning the guitar. He resides in Cypress, TX.

Peter Parlapiano

Peter Parlapiano joined the firm full-time in July 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University and went on to complete both a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning and a Master of Business Administration at Texas Tech University.

Peter is a CFP® professional, an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®), an Enrolled Agent (EA), and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®). He is an active member of the Houston Financial Planning Association, the Houston Estate & Financial Forum, and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). He also served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Financial Planning, and his work has been published in the Houston Chronicle, Journal of Financial Planning, and InvestmentNews.

Currently, he is an adjunct instructor at Rice University, where he teaches Income Tax Planning for candidates pursuing CFP® certification. He has also been an exam development volunteer for CFP Board and reviewed questions for development of the CFP® exam.

Joseph Dyal

Joseph Dyal joined the firm in June 2014 following seven years as an Estate Planning Advisor in Memphis, TN. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Texas A&M University and went on to receive both a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a member of the State Bar of Texas. Joseph and his wife are Texas natives and currently reside in Katy with their two children. When not occupied with work and family, Joseph likes biking, snow skiing, and woodworking.
